Qualifying Begins on Monday for Primary Elections in May

Qualifying for May 24 Primary is March 7 -11 2022

Carroll County Schools Board Member Sandra Morris qualified for re-election early Monday morning.

Qualifying for Partisan and Non-Partisan Candidates will begin on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 9:00 am
and will close on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 12:00 pm (noon). Daily hours are as follows:
Monday, March 7, 2022 9:00 – 4:30
Tuesday, March 8, 2022 9:00 – 4:30
Wednesday, March 9, 2022 9:00 – 4:30
Thursday, March 10, 2022 9:00 – 4:30
Friday, March 11, 2022 9:00 – 12:00
Qualifying will be conducted in the lower level of the Carroll County Administration Building, 423 College
Street, Carrollton, GA


Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 21-2-131(a) (1), the following qualifying fees were set by the Carroll County
Board of Commissioners in their January 27, 2022 meeting. The list of qualifying fees for County Offices
to be filled in the November 8, 2022 General Election and seeking nomination in the May 24, 2022,
Democratic, Republican and Non-Partisan Primary.
