The Georgia State Patrol reports that a single vehicle crash (last) Sunday resulted in the death of a pregnant woman and injury to two juveniles.
The GSP initially provided info that On 08/28/22, Troopers arrived at the crash of a Chevrolet Tahoe that had been traveling east on Rocky Branch Road, crossed the centerline and ran off the left side of the roadway.
WLBB Radio has since asked for confirmation re: the date after several FaceBook followers stated the crash happened a week ago. GSP clarified that the accident actually occurred Sunday 08/21/22…
The Driver over-corrected causing the Tahoe to rotate clockwise and travel off the left side of the roadway, according to the GSP report.
The left side of the Tahoe struck a tree causing it to overturn.
The driver, who was pregnant, died on scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.
Two juvenile passengers were transported to Tanner Villa Rica with possible minor injuries.
Those involved in the crash have not yet been publicly identified.
