CARROLLTON, GA – Carrollton High School seniors, from left, Millian Johnson, Jataya Carr, Ashley Holston and Shamari Vaughn were presented the Carroll County Historically Black Colleges and Universities Alumni Association scholarship at the 36th annual CHS Academic Achievement Awards Program April 21 at the Joshua Mabry Center for the Arts. The award goes to students who plan to attend an HBCU school. Presenting the award were Maj. Sylvester Hendrix, founder, and Ramona Shaw Smith, board member.
