The Paulding-Post of the Georgia State Patrol was requested to investigate a possible three-vehicle crash on Interstate 20 West near the Georgia/Alabama State line, around 10:00pm Friday 03/11/22.

According to Department of Public Safety Public Information Director, Lt. W. Mark Riley: The preliminary investigation shows there were two separate accidents. One of the accidents was a single vehicle rollover accident with the driver of that vehicle suffering fatal injuries. The investigating trooper determined the vehicle left the north shoulder of the roadway and then overturned. The passenger was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital with non-life threating injuries. 

Lt. Riley stated that additional information could be available on Monday.
