On Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at a little after noon, deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of Centerpoint Road in reference to gunshots and a wreck. On arrival, Deputies observed one disabled vehicle in the roadway and one off the roadway in the woods. Several witnesses heard gunshots and the sound of vehicles hitting a each other, and saw multiple individuals fleeing the scene.
When investigators arrived on scene, someone fired a gun in the woods in close proximity to the Law Enforcement. More deputies responded and the area was searched and made safe for the scene to by processed by our Crime Scene Technician, Taylor Armstrong. This is an active and ongoing investigation so no other information will be released at this time.
