CUES STEM Teacher Mitchell Is Latest ‘Lifechanger’ Nominee

CARROLLTON, GA – Another Carrollton City Schools teacher has been nominated for the LifeChanger of the Year Award, a national program recognizing K-12 educators and school employees across the country. The program celebrates those who are making a significant difference in the lives of students by exemplifying excellence, positive influence and leadership.

Thomas “Red” Keith, a math teacher at CHS, was an award winner in the 2017-2018 national contest. So far three Carrollton City Schools teachers have been nominated for the 2019-2020 contest. Carrollton Upper Elementary School  STEM teacher Moses Mitchell is the latest to be nominated and two Carrollton Junior High School teachers also have been nominated so far and all are featured on the LifeChanger of the Year website: Math teacher Regina Hytower and special education teacher Lisa Megathlin. All have profiles on the website where you can go to post comments of support and encouragement.

Other teachers and staff who have been recognized since the programÂ’s inception in 2016 are Karen Warren, Angela Ock, Sally Ingui, Jason Sidel and Rikki Chandler.
