Carrollton, GA (March 25, 2024) – In the early morning hours of Sunday, March 24, 2024, officers
responded to 815 Alabama Street, Westside Bar & Grill, regarding a shooting that just occurred. When
officers arrived, they discovered a chaotic scene and a male, later identified as Mario Chism, on the
ground with multiple gunshot wounds.
Through investigation and witness statements, it was determined a dispute inside the bar led to the
shooting. After the shooting, the suspect immediately fled the scene.
The following has been arrested in connection with incident:
Ladarrious Dekenbie Reese, age 25, of Carrollton – Aggravated Assault and Reckless Conduct
Reese turned himself in to the Carroll County Jail later Sunday morning. This case is active and ongoing
with additional charges and arrests possible. No more information will be released at this time. Anyone
