On Thursday, the Carroll County Board of Education approved the appointments of five new school principals.
Joseph Grainger has been named principal of Glanton-Hindsman Elementary School. Grainger has served as an assistant principal at Whitesburg Elementary School for three years.
Kelly Edwards will serve as principal of Roopville Elementary School. He has been an assistant principal in two of the districtÂ’s largest schools.
Courtney Rogers has been named principal of Temple Elementary School. Since beginning her education career in 1999, Mrs. Rogers has served in a variety of roles from classroom instruction to district level support services.
David Clay will serve as principal of Temple Middle School. Clay has been at TMS for three years and assumed the role of interim principal earlier this school year.
Landon Odom has been named principal of Mount Zion High School. Odom has served as interim principal of MZHS since December 2018.
