The owner of a Villa Rica salon whose structure was badly damaged Tuesday night when a car pushed through the back of the building, she and her staff will be provided a temporary spot to resume business while its determined what steps her company will take next.

The owner of Blush Hair Studio and Salon on West Bankhead Highway, Julie Sanders posted a message to Facebook after seeing the damage done— stating she is devastated… but thankful that no one was in the building at the time who could have been seriously injured.

Villa Rica Police say after 8:00 Tuesday evening, officers found that a vehicle driven by an 81-year-old Villa Rica man had struck an ambulance that was transporting a patient and then drove the vehicle into the front of blush hair studio. The man was transported to Tanner hospital for treatment due to injuries sustained in the accident.

The driver was cited for driving with suspended license, no insurance, and failure to maintain lane.

Officers say, due to his injuries the man was released on the citations.
