West Georgia Technical College celebrated fall commencement exercises December 16, awarding 188 associate degrees and technical diplomas to graduates across West Georgia.
Leuco Tool Corporation President and CFO Jens Schulz delivered the keynote address, encouraging graduates to have a personal vision.
A personal vision is a very intimate thing, Schulz said. It sets the course and should be what motivates you every day. This will set the course for your life. It will give you direction. It will give you purpose.
Schulz grew up in Denmark before moving to the United States at the age of 20. He continued his education at Kennesaw State University where he completed a bachelors degree in economics.
Schulz was named President of Leuco Tool Corporation in 2009. Leuco Tool Corporation in Villa Rica is the North American division of one of the worlds largest tooling providers for wood, plastics and other materials.
Leuco North America now has over 100 employees in seven divisions across the US and Canada.
The December 16 graduation was the second in-person graduation ceremony West Georgia Tech has celebrated after returning from virtual commencements due to COVID-19. The College provided a live video stream for graduates who were unable to attend in person.
