Stabbing at Chevron Station

Villa Rica Ga -- Two women are in the Carroll County jail following a fight outside a local convenience store in Villa Rica that resulted in one of the women being stabbed multiple times. Villa Rica Police Department Captain Keith Shaddix says police arrived at the Chevron station on Rockmart Road to find 33-year old Chantelle Henderson of Rockmart, bleeding from cuts to her ear, back, and leg.
The investigation revealed that Henderson and 53-year old Vanessa Powell from Villa Rica were involved in a verbal argument inside the Chevron station that became physical. As the two began to fight, Powell used a knife to cut Henderson. Officers discovered that Henderson tried to hide the knife in the windshield cleaning fluid next to the gas pumps prior to the officers arriving.
Powell was arrested and faces numerous charges including aggravated assault.
Henderson was transported to tanner hospital for treatment and upon her release she was arrested for affray and disorderly conduct.
