The City of Carrollton and the Main Street Board of Directors has named Mrs. Aundi Lesley as the new Main Street Director. A native of Dallas, Georgia, Mrs. Lesley developed a love for the Carrollton community while attending the University of West Georgia. After she obtained a Business Management Degree, Mrs. Lesley spent six years working in a corporate setting as an event manager.
“We are excited that Aundi has accepted the Main Street Director position,” states Main Street Board Member, Faith Mallory. “Her immense creativity and energy will be an asset for the program and the City of Carrollton. The downtown area is the heart of our community, and we expect the program to continue to thrive through Aundi’s leadership.”
Mrs. Lesley moved back to Carrollton in March of this year and looks forward to beginning her new role on June 26th. “I am thrilled to be the new Main Street Director for the City of Carrollton,” states Lesley. “I look forward to continuing the efforts of the Main Street Program to keep our historic downtown an exciting place to be. I am honored to work with such an incredible community and cannot wait to see what the future holds for Carrollton and the Main Street Program.”
