Study Ranks Carroll Among Top 40-Percent In State Healthwise

Carroll County ranks as the 58th healthiest of Georgia’s 159 counties, according to the latest annual rankings published by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin.

The annual County Health Rankings and Roadmaps rank counties against each other and against national benchmarks on various health factors including behaviors, clinical care, social and economic factors and physical environment.
The same study ranks Coweta at number 8, Paulding at 17 and Haralson at 123.
This marks the fifth year the rankings have been released and are meant to “build a culture of health.
