Police Seek Eyewitness To Car Accident Resulting In Pedestrian Death

Police are hoping for eyewitnesses to an accident Thursday evening that resulted in the death of a pedestrian.
Sergeant Greg Falls with the Carrollton Police Department says a 20-year old Villa Rica woman driving a Mercury Marquis was heading north on Bankhead Highway just before 8:00 Thursday evening. Her vehicle struck a Carrollton man, who was crossing the highway in front of the Longhorn Steakhouse.
46-year old Brian Keith Allison died as a result of his injuries.

According to the report, the driver stated she “had the green light” and she didn’t see the man in the roadway as he was wearing dark clothing.

No charges have been filed at this time.
The incident remains under investigation.
