Villa Rica High School cut the ribbon on a brand new gymnasium and band room Monday. The new 47,000 square foot facility features a gymnasium area, band room, concession area, coaching offices, a multipurpose room, classrooms, and an athletic training room.
 
Yesterday’s program included a presentation to recognize the 1969 girls’ state championship basketball team.
 
The new facility is funded by the Education Local Option Sales Tax at a price tag of close to $7M.
