Phoebe, a former native of Bremen , Georgia is a graduate of the University of Georgia (Terry College of Business), where she attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing. Last fall, Phoebe relocated her talents to the Main Street Program and assisted the former Main Street Director in planning, implementing and hosting events in downtown Carrollton , “The Amp”, and the Carrollton Historic Depot.
Prior to her move to the Main Street Program, Phoebe served the City of Carrollton for 4 years as a Visual Arts Coordinator and Supervisor in the Cultural Arts Division of the Carrollton Parks , Recreation, and Cultural Arts Department. Phoebe was instrumental in developing innovative programs as well as booking galleries with local, national and international artist; ultimately increasing the Carrollton Artist guild by 75%. A highlight of Phoebe’s career was when she secured the 2011 Taiwan International Watercolor Exhibition. This show exhibit chose two locations in the United States to exhibit… Philadelphia and Carrollton.
We are very pleased to move Phoebe into the Main Street Director position, her energy, creativity, and experience will be an asset to the Program. The downtown Carrollton area is now more vibrant than ever and we all look forward to Phoebe’s input and ideas for the future of the MainStreet Program.
Phoebe resides in Carrollton with her husband, Stephen Ericson and is a member of the Carrollton First United Methodist Church .
