Area tourism officials are working towards developing a West Georgia Music Trail.

“We are in the very early planning stages of this,” Executive Director of the Carrollton-Area Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, Jonathan Dorsey told the Community Voice last week. “We’ve had a couple meetings.”
 
“This is a really exciting joint project… the CVB, Haralson County tourism, Villa Rica tourism and the Center For Public History over at UWG are working together to notate, record and market the artists, venues and types of music,” Dorsey says.
