Carroll County Schools Announce New Chief Financial Officer

Carroll County Schools announced Mr. James Fulford as the new Chief Financial Officer at Thursday night’s Board Meeting, February 14, 2013. Mr. Fulford is a native of Carroll County and currently serves as Vice President of Commercial Lending for Metro Bank. Mr. Fulford earned his Bachelor degree in Finance and Real Estate from the University of West Georgia.

Coming from a diverse financial background, Fulford will supervise the activities of all system financial areas and serve as the principal advisor to the Carroll County School System on all matters related to financial management, financial control, and accounting. Prior to the position with Metro Bank, Fulford worked
with Community & Southern Bank (formerly First National Bank of Georgia) as the Vice President of commercial lending.
