Temple, GA -- After serving diligently for 3 years as city councilman for ward 2, Jay Mann is resigning his position as he and his family are moving to the city of Bremen to be more active in their church and focus on their children’s education. 

Mann is being replaced by his father, Larry Mann, whom he replaced after 20 years on the city council. The elder Mann was appointed by the city council to serve out the rest of Jay’s term. 

Jay says his 3 years on the council was a humbling honor and tradition for him and he will forever love the city he grew up and spent most of his life in.
