Graves Condemns White House Executive Order Threat On 2nd Amendment Rights

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Tom Graves (R-GA-14) issued the following statement after Vice President Joe Biden said yesterday that the White House is considering using executive orders to implement new gun control measures:

 “When the president’s policies cannot pass Congress, it means the American people have rejected them. A White House order for new gun controls would be in clear defiance of the will of the people and our democratic process. As a strong supporter of Second Amendment rights, I reject this threat from the White House and am prepared to introduce legislation to repeal any executive order that infringes on our right to keep and bear arms.”
