Campaign staff for Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich confirmed on President's Day that the former West Georgia professor will be making a campaign stop in Carrollton one week from today. The 'Bus-tour' stop would include a fundraising event followed by a public rally at UWG.
Gingrich in Oklahoma Monday, reportedly dangled the prospect of gas as low as $2 a gallon if he's elected. Gingrich says his policies will dramatically expand U.S. independence in the world market, dramatically expand capacity to produce energy without regard to foreign potential enemies; "and in the process prices will be a lot lower."
