Illegal passing of school buses will be easier to document and drivers making the mistake could end up paying a robust fine after the Carroll County Board of Education approves a plan to install video cameras on the arms of school buses on routes most prone to passing violations. The program reportedly comes at no cost to the Carroll County School System but rather the service is supposedly self-sufficient; operating from fines paid by violators. The hope is that the program could make itself obsolete after five years.
