CARROLLTON, Ga. –  The Carroll-Haralson Medical Alliance, an organization comprised of spouses of physicians practicing in Carroll and Haralson counties, recently established the Carroll-Haralson Medical Alliance Endowed Scholarship at the University of West Georgia. The award was established in order to assist deserving nursing students from Carroll and Haralson Counties.

The scholarship will be awarded to a student who meets the residency requirements, is a nursing major, has achieved a cumulative minimum grade points average of 3.0 and demonstrates financial need.
