Carrollton City Council approves a new peddling ordinance Monday. Peddling within city limits now requires a six-month license, to be issued based on the seller's criminal record and service/ product they are offering, among other qualifications. Chief Joel Richards says the new law was urged out of safety concerns for Carrollton residents.
