Carrollton Police on Thursday arrest three males suspected in three armed robberies at area apartment complexes over the past week.
Captain Chris Dobbs says on Monday, a resident at the Harmony Oaks Apartment complex on Matthews Avenue had walked up the stairs to his apartment, when a male came up behind him and pointed a gun. The suspect made off with the victim’s work clothes.
About five hours later, in the early hours of Tuesday, a pizza delivery driver making a delivery to the Chateau Apartments on Hay’s Mill Road found the delivery address unoccupied, and was returning to his car when he was jumped by two males wearing bandanas over their faces. The suspects stole the driver’s wallet, money and delivery.
The suspects targeted the Chateau Apartments again early morning Thursday. This time getting away with a deliveryman’s cell-phone and food order.
The three suspects include a 16-year-old juvenile. Also facing charges are 26-year old Chris Almon and 19-year old Thomas Kidd, both of Carrollton.
Police were able to recover some of the stolen items. Other charges in relation to the robberies are pending.
