Villa Rica Police are investigating a series of residential burglaries. Detectives have connected a vehicle description to three of the cases.
On 12-16-11, police recovered a video that showed a silver Nissan Maxima backing up to the garage door of a house on Barberry Dr. in Villa Rica that was burglarized. The video shows that the Nissan has tinted windows and an elongated moon roof.
On 01-05-12, a neighbor reported a similar vehicle speeding away from a house on Red Branch Dr. It was then determined that the house had also been burglarized.
On 01-27-12, neighbors reported seeing two black males in a silver Nissan Maxima back up to the garage door of a house on Gold Creek Ct. One of the males kicked in a door, opened the garage door, backed the Nissan into the garage, and closed the garage door. A few minutes later the garage door opened and the vehicle was seen speeding away from the scene.
The suspects are described as black males, late teens to early twenty’s. The suspects are taking flat screen TV’s and other electronics in the burglaries.
