With a new year comes a new mayor and new council for the city of Bowdon. As the first order of business, new mayor Keith Crawford presented Jim Watts with a plaque recognizing his over 20 years of service to the city.  After swearing in newly elected councilman Jimmy Chaffin, mayor Crawford says he’s looking forward to rolling up his sleeves with the new council for 2012. Marty Johnson was sworn in last fall to replace Betty Jones who retired.
