A Douglas County teenager is accused of stealing a police radio from a vehicle and then broadcasting phony information. The teen allegedly transmitted to deputies and dispatchers different numbers and codes requesting back-up help and reporting false information. Deputies were able to track the suspect by the radio's signal to his home, where he was arrested. The suspect faces charges for allegedly entering several vehicles in the county, as well as thefts of property.
