The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is investigating more than 20 vehicle break-ins in the gated Fairfield Plantation community over the Christmas weekend. Captain Jeff Richards says thieves took several thousands of dollars worth of property including credit cards, jewelry, and navigating systems. He says most of the vehicles entered were left un-locked.
