County officials certified this week that Kris Kringle and his animal entourage are "cleared" to work in Carroll County this weekend. Lt. David Padgett with the County Animal Shelter says the reindeer have been OK'd to travel throughout west Georgia. "Santa provided the proper rabies-shot documents for the reindeer, this morning," says Padgett.
County officials also confirm the approval of a one-day business permit certified to Santa Claus for this Sunday. They note that local neighborhood POA are responsible for permitting entry into their respective communities.
