The attorney representing the family of the THS student killed in the October 2010 bus crash, released the following statement on Tuesday:
"The lawsuit against Carroll County Schools has been dismissed by the parents of RaShawn (Rae Rae) Walker. The matter is resolved and the parents are appreciative of the leadership by the new superintendent of his commitment to making school safety first for Carroll County students. We are still looking at the safety of the location of the roadway to make sure no one has to face a holiday seasons like the Walkers who miss their son dearly. They hope all remember the joy and kindness Rae Rae spread to every student and live their lives that way as well."
