On 12-10-11 at 2:52 AM, two suspects stole used cooking oil from the rear of Big Chic in Villa Rica. Video shows a large moving van, with the name of Pacific Storage & Moving on the side, stop at the rear of Big Chic. Two male suspects then use a hose from the rear of the truck to siphon the oil from three 55 gallon drums.
The press release was disseminated by (local media) earlier this week. On 12-15-11 Villa Rica Police received information from Hiram Police Dept. as to the location of the vehicle used in the theft. Detective Chris Bertera and Captain Keith Shaddix located the vehicle at 1125 Bonnie Ln. in Dallas Ga. During the investigation Chrystian Hernandez was identified as the driver of the vehicle the night of the theft. Dallas Police Dept. and the Paulding Marshal’s Office also assisted with the investigation. The company gathering the oil for processing is Green Solutions. It was determined that there was no business license in place and several other violations were found. Charges for violations at the business are being handled by Dallas P.D. and the Paulding Marshal’s Office.
Chrystian Hernandez, 21 years old, from Donna Tx. Was arrested and charged with Theft by Taking. Villa Rica Police are still working on identifying the second suspect shown in the video.
