This was the first year that the Carrollton Main Street Program added an award component to our Holiday Wishes Christmas Parade. Each participating organization was judge on their creativity, spirit and theme. Our judging panel was comprised of local merchants and community members and while the competition was extremely fierce only entry stood out among the rest. The Carrollton Main Street Program would like to congratulate Spinnerz family skate center for being selected as the winner for this year’s Holiday Wishes Christmas Parade Spirit Award. Spinnerz will be the recipient of a plaque and $200 downtown dollars. We would also like to congratulate Northwest Exterminating, Southwire and The Scrap Bin who will be receiving Honorable Mentions for their entries. Honorable Mention winners will also be receiving a plaque for display in their business. Thank you again to our Sponsors Community and Southern Bank, the Times Georgian and Gradick Communications who helped make this event possible. Thank you to the community and organizations for your involvement and support of this fun event and thank you to everyone who attended for helping us make this year’s event the most successful one to date!
