The Haralson County Sheriff’s Office has a Bremen man in custody accused of shooting and killing his wife. Haralson County Coroner Danny Hutcheson says 76-year old Elizabeth Adams of Emerald Lane in Bremen was pronounced dead at the scene Wednesday evening.
Sheriff Eddie Mixon says Thomas Adams is charged with first-degree murder after allegedly shooting his wife with a 38-calibur handgun. The two had reportedly been quarrelling prior to the shooting. Adams tells authorities he “just couldn’t take it anymore.
