The Carroll County Sheriff’s office collects a total of 25 pounds of unwanted medication during ‘Operation Pill Take Back’ this weekend. The event is designed to keep ignored medications from ending up in the wrong hands or into the local water system. Dropped-off medications are then properly destroyed.
The Carrollton Police Department reports collecting more than 10 pounds of unwanted meds Saturday, as well.
