A Haralson County kayaker is reportedly doing fine today after being struck in the head by a falling tree-limb on the banks of the Tallapoosa River Friday. Emergency officials say the man was part of a group kayaking and fishing. The man was adjusting his fishing bait on a sand-bar, when officials say a gust of wind brought a heavy limb down on his head. He was taken to an Atlanta hospital for overnight evaluation and was released on Saturday.
