A woman accused of stealing around $7,700 from Bowdon Band Boosters earlier this year, pleads not guilty during arraignment in the Carroll County Superior Court Wednesday. While she was the group’s treasurer, 41-year old Pamela Tracey Rice allegedly used the funds “for her own personal gain”--- including paying her home power bill and trips for her family, according to Carroll County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Jackson Lawrence. Lawrence says investigations have since revealed that Rice had previously committed “a similar type crime” in Florida and was charged there as well. Judge John Simpson set a trial date for November 28^th.
