Two Arrested for Shoplifting and Possessing Materials to Manufacture Meth



On 10-03-11 at 7:08 PM, Villa Rica Police were called to Wal-Mart due to a report of shoplifting. Before the officers arrived the two suspects fled the scene. A description was given of their vehicle and Temple Police stopped the vehicle on I-20.

 The investigation revealed that the two suspects were caught shoplifting lithium batteries and other items before they fled the scene. A search of the vehicle revealed that the two suspects were in possession of marijuana and materials used to manufacture methamphetamine. Members of the West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office assisted Villa Rica Police with the investigation. The suspects admitted that the items stolen from Wal-Mart were going to be used to make meth.

 The suspects were identified as Justin Shane East, 23 years old, from Anniston Ala and Victor Howard Lloyd, 20 years old, from Anniston Ala. Both suspects were charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Materials Used to Manufacture Meth, and Shoplifting.
