"A man approaches a Bank Of America teller, demands the money and then leaves the scene on his own," according to CPD Chris Dobbs. The incident occurred after 9:00 this morning at the Maple Street location of Bank Of America. "Right now," Dobbs says, "We think the suspect acted alone and escaped on his own, as no witnesses have reported seeing anyone else with him.
Surveillance video shows a black man wearing wearing a blue button-up shirt and dark blue jacket, a red and dark colored toboggan and sunglasses at the time of the incident.
Dobbs says the suspect left the scene in a dark GMC, "Sports-Utility type vehicle."
