Investigators with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office waste little time in re-capturing a man that walked away from the Carroll County Jail prior to being booked Friday afternoon.
23-year old Michael Douglas Sparks of Douglas County was initially charged with forgery but now faces a felony escape charge as well. Several Carroll County Officers along with the US Marshal’s Southeast Fugitive Task Force tracked sparks to a convenience store in Carroll County Friday evening, where he was apprehended. He is being held without bond
