County Considers Ordinances Dealing With Property Protection
The Carroll County Board of Commissioners is considering at least three new ordinances presented by County Attorney Cynthia Daley Thursday-- designed to deal with property nuisances that could hinder values of neighboring properties. Among the considered ordinances are a foreclosure registry ordinance to ensure that abandoned property is maintained…a scrap and used tire storage ordinance, and a general nuisance ordinance to cover such things as junk cars and dilapidated buildings. Commissioners will consider the ordinances over the next few months before potentially making changes and bringing them to a vote.
