Officer Cleared Of Wrong Doing In Case Of Tasered Minister
An Internal Affairs report claims that a Douglasville officer accused of excessively “tasing” a minister at a traffic stop last month, did act appropriately when the accuser refused to obey commands. The report indicated that the escalation in this incident occurred because of noncompliance by the Pastor and his adult son to the officer’s commands, which led to heightened concerns by the officer for his own safety, which is the perspective confirmed by independent eyewitnesses. The Douglasville Police Officer returns to duty today.
