The Governor’s Office of Workforce Development will host The Governor’s Workforce Development Town Hall on Soft Skills in Education at West Georgia Technical College’s Murphy Campus Conference Center Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. This is one in a series of public town hall meetings to allow Georgians, most importantly WGTC students, parents, business leaders, and Georgia’s professional educators, to be a part of the establishment of a statewide certification in soft skills such as punctuality, ability to learn, appropriate business attire, and ability to work as a team for Georgia’s schools. The public is encouraged to attend and share their ideas for building Georgia’s workforce with a panel of local, regional and state experts.
