Carrollton Police Wednesday, arrest a second man allegedly involved in the “hold-ups at gun-point” of two University of West Georgia students early morning Tuesday. 23-year old Michael Terez Simms of Villa Rica was apprehended by police earlier this week, shortly after the alleged incidents and after allegedly attempting to use a stolen debit card at a local retailer.
The second suspect is identified as 25-year old Diante Morrow of Carrollton. Investigators say Morrow has only recently been released from prison and is currently on parole. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation lists Diante LaThomas Morrow as a sexual offender, having been convicted of statutory rape in February of 2007.
