Former UWG Football Player Implicated In Murder Investigation

Carrollton Police have in custody, two of the three men they so far believe to be involved in the incident that resulted in the murder of a 21-year old Marietta man, in the Chateau Apartments’ parking lot back on September 2^nd.

Police continue to look for 20-year-old Roudolphe Germain Jr. Of Lithonia, who was allegedly “armed with a gun” when 21-year-old Kevin Woods was shot and killed outside the Hays Mill Road complex. 20-year old Evan Winston turned himself into authorities last week.

Police have also arrested former University of West Georgia football player, and current UWG student Egim Etta Tawo. Tawo allegedly set up a drug deal with the parties involved and is essentially accused of contributing to the death.
