The Carrollton Fraternal Order Of Police encourage Running From The Cops this Saturday… with a 1-mile fun run and walk scheduled for 7-30 in the morning followed by a competitive 5k run at 8. Carrollton Police Lieutenant James Perry says proceeds from the event go towards the Cops, Kids, & Christmas program, benefiting Carroll county children in need this Christmas.
Pre registration for the race guarantees participants a t-shirt. All participants in the 1-mile fun-run under the age of 12 receive a ribbon… plus medals to the top 8 males and females. The top 3 males and females from 11-separate-age-groups in the 5k run are also awarded. Register at the Carrollton police department.
