All public safety officials in Carroll County remained on stand-by overnight following a day with numerous tornado warnings issued and the potential for flash flooding.
Carroll County Emergency Management Agency Director Tim Padgett says Carroll survived any serious issues all though numerous trees were reported down and a couple power outages reported. Padgett says most of Carroll saw anywhere from 2 ½ inches of rain to 3 inches.
Harlson County reports some downed trees as well, according to Haralson County’s EMA Director, Bryan Walker.
A flash flood watch remains in effect for the area through this morning.
