Carrollton police are investigating the shooting death of a Cobb County man at the Chateau Apartments on Hays Mill Road this afternoon. Captain Chris Dobbs says police arrived on the scene after 3:00 today following reports of four shots being fired. “We arrived to find one car backed up into trees and bushes at the edge of the parking lot,” he says. “There were three subjects in the car. The driver was shot and he was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other two subjects are cooperating with information.”
For now, the only description of the alleged shooters is two black males, leaving in a white Mazda or Camry type car.
Dobbs estimates the shooting victim to be in his early 20's.
