Six more names qualify on Tuesday for Carroll County’s municipal election in November. One of those, waged a write-in campaign for Carroll County Commissioner last year but lost to the incumbent. Jim Watters’ name will be on the ballot for Carrollton City Council ward three, a seat filled the last two terms by Dr. Peter Balega.
Other qualifiers Tuesday include incumbent Carrollton city councilwoman Mandy Maierhofer, Walt Hollingsworth for Carrollton city mayor and incumbent Carrollton city school board member Michael Rothschild. Earlis McGraw and John Clay Traylor qualify for Mount Zion city council ward two.
