Bowdon High's baseball team was in action today in the 1st round of the AA state playoffs. Bowdon achieved a 25-1 regular season record that made them Region 5AA Champions. They were 25-0 before losing their last game of the season to Heard County. 
Today, DaJour Riddle out of Central High School signed with the Shorter Hawks. Throughout his Central High career, DaJour has been an athlete on the  basketball and football teams.

I was in Bowdon, Georgia today to watch Bowdon High take on Ranburne High (Alabama). Bowdon was 20-0 before the start of this game and ranked #3 in the state in the AA classification.
